Original COLUMBIA Brass Screw-on Hubcap Wood Wheels 1916-24 VERY RARE & NICE

$ 71.27

Availability: 100 in stock

Description

Very rare original Columbia threaded hubcap grease cover for spoked wooden artillery wheels. Made of heavy pressed and machined nickel plated brass. The Columbia Motors Co. built cars using Continental six cylinder engines from 1916 to 1924 in Detroit. I do not know exact year, model or application for this example. 2 13/16" wide by 2 1/16" high, 2 1/2" threads. Excellent restored condition with no wear or damage of any kind, threads look good. The face with the Columbia block letter logo emblem insignia nameplate is perfect with all letters clear and readable. The cap has been chrome plated to show quality and was hard to photograph due to it's brilliant shine. Very hard to find, great for your collection or use on a restored car.
