Description
For sale is this classic Chinese stamp or seal. Seals like this have been popular for thousands of years among the Chinese culture. They would have once been like a signature, and function as a seal for official documents. This seal is round with traditional Chinese characters on the base of it. They are heavily recessed meaning that it is intended for stamping wax or clay, instead of ink. The “handle” on it is in the design of two opposing dragon heads. This piece is made of a silver toned metal, and is likely a clad, low purity silver, or silver plated base metal (like brass or bronze). I am unsure of the age of this piece, but believe it to be modern. Pieces like this are highly collectible! Perfect addition to any collection! Don’t pass it up!Be sure to check over the details and look at all of the photos so you will know exactly what you’ll get! Sometimes the photos include a picture of the item next to a ruler so that you can better tell the size of the item. This way we can avoid any accidental sizing issues. My goal is to make you happy!
