    Description

    Wonderful vintage Mid Century pewter vase by Astri Holthe, of Norway.
    Part of interest in the 1950s-1960s in Scandinavian culture and design.
    Features embossed V
    iking-inspired imagery of warriors, king, sword bearer, cup bearer, dragon or lyndwurm, cross knot designs.
    Soft, warm gray finish, with black to highlight imagery.
    Pewter is also refered to as zinn or tinn in northern European languages. Pewter has a low melting point and should never be put in a heated oven or it will melt.
    Measures 5.75" tall X 2.75" wide X .75" diameter opening at top.
    Some spotting on lower part of vase--likely can be cleaned off with a soft cleanser.
