    Description

1947,1948 FORD 9.5" SUPER DELUXE, PICKUP Hubcap
    < Driver / Restore >
This cap has a dented in inner ring that can be straightened out, I have fixed many with the same issue.
Couple of small dings should be able to be bumped out and then you could polish it.
Or leave as is for a driver or would make a great piece of wall art as the original paint is still in the letters!!
PLEASE READ ENTIRE LISTING, Thank you.
All Hubcaps are OEM unless noted.
I am not an expert on identifying automotive hubcaps.
I researched each one the best I could.
It is up to you to double check your application(s).
If you purchasing from more than 1 of my listings, let me know, I will combine items being shipped and I will re-fund* the shipping savings if you used Paypal to purchase.
    * I won't know the exact savings until I pack and ship.  When I do ship It will have the postage cost on the label. Allow 1 business day for the refund.
Used Hubcap(s) You get what is Pictured.
These are from a collection of over 250 hubcaps I acquired out of a shed that was going to be torn down.
Other than doing a quick wipe down (still grime on some) I did no other “improvements’ to them. Many have a bit of oxidation on them that should clean off and
    shine up very nicely.
They may have Dings, Dents, Scratches, Scrapes,
    Marring
, Warps that may not show up clearly in the pictures. If you require additional pictures please ask, the caps are being stored at my shop, so it may take a day to take additional photos and send to you.
Many Hubcap listings on E-Bay rate on a scale of 1 to 10.
Seems like everyone has a bit of a different standard though.
I have been around classic cars since the late 1970’s.
I have a good idea what can and can not be restored.
I am going to rate my caps as follows.
    Art >
Good for hanging on the wall or displayed on a shelf.
“If you ain’t got a vintage hubcap displayed in your garage you ain’t got a real garage
    😊

    Restorable >
As in the name implies. No creases, holes, rust through, major warps, etc…
    Driver/Restore>
A step up from just a restorable hubcap, can put on a driver car and the “patina” should about match that of the car, although everybody’s idea of driver quality is different, you be the final judge as per the photos.
    Very Good >
A better Driver Quality Hubcap from that of Driver/Restore. Judge for yourself.
Excellent> Again a step up from Very Good, But again you be the judge.
    AND OF COURSE::
ANY or ALL my listed Hubcaps can be considered for display as “Art” just depends on the quality of the “Art” you want displayed or to give as a gift.
